"Worst customer service ever!" on by bradad

    Pros: its a computer

    Cons: customer service/warranty

Summary: I purchased a V series computer from lenovo. I had an issue with the battery lock while it was still under warrenty. An internal peice of the battery locking mechanism broke and i called lenovo to inform them it had broken, they said it would be covered. A few days later they called to collect $187 for the entire plastic backing... the exterior of the computer is fine, it still is. It was an internal peice of the battery lock that broke and would fail to hold the battery in place. (zero damage due to user error, all internal!). I spoke with them for an hour and got nowhere. I called the next day and 30 min later the call center guy said i would be covered... then the next day i got another call where I was told that my claim was not going to be covered by their warranty. Then, they tried to get $90 extra for an upgrade in warranty. So now a few weeks later I finally have my computer back and they failed to fix the problem even though it was originally explained to me that it would be covered in the warranty. So in review, zero customer service, zero warranty coverage, and zero satisfation. DONT BUY A LENOVO.

"Awful internet and worst customer service of my life" on by Mer_Rae

    Pros: There are no pros

    Cons: Awful internet connection
Broke after 4 months (would freeze after 1-2 minutes every time I turned it on)
The most frustrating customer service experience of my life - passed around departements charging me each time and never fixed my computer

    Summary: Never buy this brand.

    "I puchased a Lenovo G560 Laptop in Feb 2011." on by Rickdh1

    Pros: Small and compact

Cons: Slow, no keypad and the screen broke after 10 months.
The lcd goes bad and Lenovo does not cover the screens in their warrenty.

Summary: It has been a troublesome machine so when they asked for $80-$110 to fix it, I was shocked. Why would I pay for a screen when mine was never dropped, hit or abused in any way, just broke (and was nearly new).
I will not pay it or ever purchase another Lenovo! Think twice before you do as I am not impressed.
