"So far, AWESOME!"
4.5 starson by ubimanPros: Fast, great wireless, just overall great package!
Cons: Ports on side, no win key.
Summary: I read cnet so many times but never contribute, so I'm trying to do my part

Small little things make this great: comfortable keyboard, little light for keyboard, external volume controls, great ibm config software, solid construction, and I actually have become quite fond of the utilitarian look. The performance/weight ratio is incredible for this machine. I have a 64mb Radeon 9600 in a 4.9lb form factor! No laptop (or very few) laptops can perform such a feat, usually they'll give you some intel integrated junk.
I remapped right alt key to substitute as windows key. Just google "remap windows key thinkpad" or something of that nature and you'll find a solution. In addition, I have a docking station so connections are now on back -- basically negating all my cons for this computer.
Had it a month so far and LOVE it! Just got a waterfield laptop case, mini-dock II, and external HD to make this one lean machine

definitely, it is awesome. the design, too. Do you observe how the design is 15 years old, and it never gets boring? It's like an ancient Greek building, over 2500 years old, and it looks better than our modern skyscrapers. It's made out of magnesium or titanium (1 of the 2), which is whole lot better than ABS plastic that Dell& HP offers.
