"Lenovo makes the best PC laptops period, the next best made goes to Apple."
Pros: Magnesium lid, excellent keyboard, 3 usb ports, rollcage and active HD protection, Thinkvantage
Cons: Still uses VGA ports instead of DVI
Summary: Best laptop I have ever owned. Rock solid construction, lots of nice features like active HD protection, roll cage for the HD, and magnesium screen protector. Best keyboard out there. Only thing keeping me from giving this thing a 10 is the lack of a built in DVI port, it still uses VGA. Anytime I buy a PC laptop again, I will always go Lenovo. More expensive sometimes than others, but worth the extra $$.
Also, the styling is plain, not ugly. I previously owned a Dell XPS Gen 2 laptop, with the LEDs and shiny casing. This is the complete opposite. Jet black casing, the only color comes from the Trackpoint and the IBM logo.
No problems with support. I had a problem with my screen, called them up, and was answered in 2 minutes by an AMERICAN, not5 some call center in India. Sent me out a box, and I got my laptop back in the same week.
