  • "Overpriced crap"

    Pros: Back lit keyboard
    Sturdy chassis
    Good performance

    Cons: Glossy screen
    Non IPS screen
Smallish hard drive (should at least be a hybrid drive)
    No dedicated graphics
    Poor battery life
    Single DIMM slot & channel

Summary: Here is Australia this laptop is A$1959 and with the Australian dollar worth S1.06US that's a 45% markup on the US price. Would you guys in the US pay $2083US for this laptop?
Then of course aside from the high price there's the crap screen, smallish hard drive (presumably not a hybrid drive), integrated graphics, and poor battery life.
I'm searching for a 13" laptop, but I also want a DVD or bluray drive and don't mind extra thickness (weight is still important though)
    Fail.
