Pros: Pretty happy with everything this laptop has to offer. Ideal size and weight.
Cons: Many people criticize the IBM Thinkpad appearance as being boring and boxy. On the flip side, it's black and it looks slick.

"Very portable, yet fast and functional"
Pros: Light, versatile, solid build, great keyboard, fast, significantly cheaper than comparable Sony or Toshiba subnotebooks
Cons: The price of portability is a small screen and a lightly cramped keyboard (but one can get used to it over time). However, this is what makes this subnotebook so portable.

Pros: Extremely reliable (shipped by the dozens as part of a field-portable instrument, with 0 failure to date) Super light. Hugely important for portable instrumentation! (less than 1/3 of the weight of previous alternatives)
Cons: On the spendy side. Not a "complete" laptop without CD/RW, which makes it spendier yet.
Summary: null
