"Finally Thinkpads come with mainstream features."
Pros: Widescreen, Firewire, Gigabit Ethernet, EVDO modem, Colors other than black
Cons: Crappy Intel GMA graphics, although I thought they had another model with an ATI X600
Summary: Getting Lenovo to take over production was IBM's best move yet. Don't get me wrong, I love my Tankpad, but I always wished I could get more mainstream features on it, and it looks like Lenovo is a forward thinking company. I own 2 Thinkpads, the T43, and a T22, and this will be my 3rd. Looks like Lenovo hit it on the head. Business users will love the EVDO modem, although I hope you get to choose your provider. Not a huge fan of the silver lid, but if it is Titanium, it will protect the screen better. Now just get rid of the Intel GMa and use atleast an X300 in it and you will have a real winner.

I ordered one of these thinkpads from Lenovo the first week in October, was told 2-4 weeks and here it is December, and they are still telling me 2-4 weeks. They have no idea when these things will ship. This company is headed for a big customer backlash.

I have actually had nothing but bad experiences with the Lenovo company. Bad customer service, and none of their Reps that i spoke to knew what they were talking about, and gave me bad information. I wish IBM still owned their PC manufacturing.
