Pros: Bright LED screen, snappy performance (for a netbook), Apple-like materials and design, Solid construction, thinner than the EeePC and Aspire One, Built-in Webcam and Bluetooth, Silent, Fan on the side instead of the bottom.
Cons: Memory cannot be upgraded unless you open the machine(voids warranty), 3-cell battery only provides 2 hours of usage, Power adapter is a bit on the bigger size.
Summary: Let me just say that I am in love with this machine. I have been through a few netbooks and after owning Apple Computers, it is hard for me to get used to the materials and bad design of Windows machines but this one is a true winner.
The design is simple, yet solid constructed. The machine is a bit wider than the EeePC and Aspire One but not as thick.
Aspire One's built quality is crappy. EeePC's is better but not as refined.
I installed Mac OS X on this machine and it is running flawlessly. I also got a chance to test it with Windows XP and it was snappy as well.
I was going to buy the White MSI Wind but since I could not find any in stock, I settled for the black which I am glad I did. The black looks less like a toy computer, it looks more expensive.
I have no complaints whatsoever on this machine and if you are on the market for a netbook, I would recommend you buying this one and later on upgrading your battery to a 6-cell. -

web camSummary: I picked this MSI wind at best buy on sale for 300 dollars. This thing really was a great deal. for the price you could get a dell mini running on linux with an 8 GB hard drive and 512 MB of ram. This has 120 GB hard drive and 1 GB of ram and running on xp. For 100 dollars more you could get the HP mini with a 16 GB hard drive and 512 MB of ram. I really love this thing. Its awesome. I thought the performance on it wouldnt be that great, but it really is pretty good. I can run itunes, word, firefox, and photoshop at the same time without a problem. I really dont know why everyone is all crazy about the SSD thing. I dont like them in net books. they often have just enough space to have the operating system and thats it. i like the wind becuase it actually has a usable hard drive. The only bad things that i have seen with the wind is that the battery life is short and the web cam sucks. but i dont really use it so it doesnt matter to me. overall i think this thing is great and i highly recomend it.

Pros: After using this computer I will not accept a smaller screen or keyboard from a netbook, both feel quite roomy on this machine. Extremely active user community at msiwind.net. 3 USB, 1 VGA, multi card slot, separate speaker & mic, and ethernet, Duh!
Cons: The battery release catch seems a little cheap.
Summary: You will always have to sacrifice something when going from a laptop to netbook, but you sacrifice the least when that netbook is the MSI Wind. One of the lesser known perks is that you can set the screen resolution to 1024x768. You will have to scroll up and down to see the whole screen on the 1024x600 monitor, but this is extremely helpful when installing some software that runs quite well at 1024x600 but refuses to install on anything less than 1024x768. I have made the adjustment to install a couple of applications, then set it back after the install completed.

Pros: Compact, larger display than most of the netbooks currently in market, 6cell battery makes it run easily for 4 hours, 1 gb ram makes running different applications simultaneously easy. Nice keyboard, integrated webcam is cool. Go for it......
Cons: Need to put dvd slot in these netbooks.
Summary: Worth the money.

Pros: Ultra portable, big HDD, with the SSD netbooks you need external memory for programs or for data (eg movies, music,...) The MSI / Medio E1210 has 160GB!! so no need to carry USB HDD drives which leads to an increase in power consumption.
..Cons: 10" display could have been at a higher resolution, like 1280x 768 or even higher...
(I'm used to a 15" 1920x1200)
Battery life (although there a 7200mAh on the market)
No illuminated keys :-(Summary: I use the Medion E1210 with 160GB of HDD. Note that SSD is not more power efficient, it depends on what you're doing. and prices are still skyhigh for SSD. Note that with 20GB of drive space you can hardly install XP, let alone Office or Audio/Video/pictures
Excellent device to carry along on trips and travels: 1/4 of the volume and weight of a 1525 and half the size (<A4)
Easy to making backups of your photos and videos, have your favourite music and even a couple of movies, some basic game always available while on the road.
Excellent choice of MSI to add a HDD iso a SSD. btw Medion is giving 3 years warranty through Aldi in Europe.
PS:Photoshop on an Netbook? You need at least 20" to view the details.
