"Not tough at all! Bad customer service. Buyer beware!"
Pros: There are no "Pros" to buying this computer.
Cons: Does not withstand the slightest shock.
Summary: Bought this computer for our son because it was supposed to be durable. In less than two months the screen broke from very mild shock. Nothing compared to the beating it takes on the TV commercials. Turns out to be false advertising! Buried in the manual for this supposed "Toughbook" it says to handle with extreme care because it can be damaged from shock and this type of damage is not covered in the warranty. When we called customer service not only were they rude but they are charging us $900 to replace the screen!!! By comparison, a similar repair from a competing brand was about $200. Do not buy this computer or any toughbook product. They do not perform as advertised, they are not backed up by a decent warranty (meaning they don't stand behind their claims of shock resistance) and the cost or repairs is more than buying a new laptop from another brand. Very, VERY disappointed.
