"Best netbook, runs 7 hours, best keyboard" on by kidmaliksi
Pros: Amazing keyboard
Runs 6-7 hours, longest in a netbook
160 hd, compared to other netbooks' limit of 80gbCons: Little or no noise created about this great netbook
Summary: This is the best reviewed netbook worldwide, except in the US. So why is America lukewarm to it? Could it be that it's the first laptop/netbook it launched in the States?

"Awesome Netbook, Read other reviews." on by saurey
Pros: Stamina Battery
Great Keyboard
Big Hard-Drive
Great Design
Strong Performance
Fun to Use
Runs Warcraft III Frozen ThroneCons: Small Touchpad
McAfee AV Trial is bloated.Summary: I bought one of these and I love it to death. Check out some other reviews around the web if you aren't sold yet. I only give it 1/2 star ding because the touchpad is small indeed and takes getting used to, but it really isn't terrible once you get used to it. I'm happy with the regular HDD because SSD tech isn't where it should be yet.

"The Best 10" Netbook Currently Available" on by Pugrider
Pros: The NC10 has the largest/most functional keyboard, best looking matte screen, long battery life, and the best fit and finish of the current crop of netbooks. The 6 cell battery comes standard, Do a Google search to see all of the positive reviews.
Cons: Won't be available in US stores until late January, so you can't try before you buy. The touchpad is small but functional, and the buttons on the bottom is a big improvement.
The speakers are pathetic, so don't buy one based one based that feature.Summary: This review seems to have missed the point - the Samsung NC10 is selling like hotcakes not because it has a gimmick that the others don't have, but that it has everything you want it to have (93% full size keyboard, 6 cell battery, matte screen, 160 GB HDD) without any of the annoying features that plague other netbooks, including poor fit and finish. I have a blue Sammy, and it looks great!
I bought a netbook to bridge the gap between my home and home PC, and for use at meetings and on travel. The NC10 does everything I want it to do, and at a weight (less than 3 pounds) and cost (less than $500) that make it portable and affordable.
Bottom line - you can't just go by specs, you have to try out a netbook to see if it will do what you need it to do. For me, that includes running VPN, MS Office applications, and being able to do web surfing without long pauses. Unlike some netbooks, the only things I have needed to buy are a 1 GB RAM upgrade (which all netbooks require) and a decent sleeve for protection. At some point I may upgrade the HDD to an SSD and install a 3G chip, but am in no hurry to do so.
As always, caveat emptor. However, I bough the NC10 based solely on industry and user reviews, and I have no regrets at all.

"Can't find a better netbook ANYWHERE!!!" on by randyzx5
Pros: Super fast, love the screen, keys feel like you are using a full size desk. Blows all other netbooks away. I have used the Dell Mini 9 and the Samsung makes it look like a childs toy.
Cons: I wish more stores in the US....Circuit City, Staples, Office Max, etc. would carry this netbook, because you have to buy them soley on-line.
Summary: If you are looking for a compact, yet powerful netbook, that feel like you are using a top of the line desk top.....BUY A SAMSUNG NC10....you won't regret it.

"Best of the bunch (black)" on by oosmani
Pros: Very nice screen
160Gb
Solid built
Nice keyboard (see cons)
Very good battery life
Touchpad - after customisationCons: The UK keyboard is slightly different and has narrow keys on the right side.
Feels slightly heavier compared to others (due to the 6 cell battery).
Sound could be better.
Lack of SIM card slot.Summary: Been looking for an extra laptop for a while. The salespersons do not sell netbooks as an alternative to laptops. But I must say barring the lack of CD/DVD drive, the Samsung NC10 netbook is every bit as good as my bigger Sony Vaio. Very easy to use out of the box. I have installed Microsoft Office and other software, and everything works perfect. WLAN connection is good. One thing I would have preferred (which some netbooks offer) is a SIM card slot to access mobile broadband on the move without having to sitck in the dongle in the USB port. I am very impressed by the screen brightness and speed. The UK keyboard unlike the others has more keys cramped on the right side of keyboard, with couple of keys being narrower and the enter key is different too. But the rest of the keyboard is pretty easy to use. I have been reading reviews where people have complained about the small touchpad. After going through the "mouse" options in the control panel and changing/customising some settings has made it a delight to use. You can even zoom in/out using 2 fingers! The one problem I felt about the touch pad is it is pretty flush with the rest of the panel which makes it a little annoying (esecially in black colour) in not very good light to locate its margins while scrolling.
All in all it is very well built and great to use.
