"Interesting..."
3.5 starson by thunderbomb24Pros: Ultraportable and lightweight; full Windows capability as well as email and internet; various connection slots
Cons: Expen$ive; 3.5 hr battery, which is not much for an portable device; processor not as powerful as it should be
Summary: The Q1 Ultra Mobile PC is definitely an eye-catching device, with high-gloss black finish, large screen, and an appealing design. But is it enough to satisfy an on-the-road-all-the-time business man or other people who are always traveling?
On the YES side: It is able to use all of Windows applications, such as Word and PowerPoint and Excel, good for business men. It weighs only 2 lbs., so no doubt that it won't be a problem carrying it around places.
On the NO side: The battery is less than spectacular. With only 3.5 hours of juice in it, that doesn't quite make it on a long trip. The price is also not-so-welcoming at over $1000. So it's not for those without a decent job. For tech junkies, the processor isn't quite what can be expected, so for those wanting to make it their only computer system better think twice.
P.S.: When the video showed the Q1 Ultra Mobile PC in a side-by-side comparison to the Sony PSP, I was unsatisfied. The Ultra Mobile and PSP are NOT in the same market of computers! Needless to say, the comparison shouldn't even exist...
