"Not a business PC, warranty service a two week ordeal"
Pros: Great functionality and when it works, a great feel relative to other PC Laptops.
Cons: If there is any issue whatsoever that requires service, Sony may take up to two weeks to fix the issue. During which time, no loaner or refund is available. Dell is a 3 day turn around tops. Also, Dell will simply refund your money.
Summary: I will never buy another Sony Laptop. If you are like most people and will lose money or time if your laptop is ever down, Sony is not for you. Buy a Dell or buy from a retailer that stands by their product and will offer a full refund.
Trust me, nothing is more irritating than paying a premium for a product like the Sony Vaio, then paying $200 plus tax for the extended premium warranty, and then being without your PC for two weeks.
