"Solid system at a great price."
Pros: Left-handed users will appreciate split USBs. You can plug in the USB on one side and it doesn't interfere with your mouse on the other. Great keyboard spacing and key size for my huge fingers. Similar to MacBook. Bought online at BestBuy for $670.
Cons: No multimedia keys. AV button is useless. No S-Video connector. Rubber feet don't raise it off table much, so it gets hot. Use a chill mat from Targus and it helps alot. Can't determine if SD reader will read SDHC cards. DVD should be slot load.

"Great price, solid performance, no-frills functionality"
Pros: Layout is sleek and simple, the hardware is fast and functional. Intel wireless chipset is terrific. Very reliable connections at fast speeds. Junk-ware is kept to a minimum (easily removed AOL apps). Power jack is lowprofile for reliability
Cons: Nothing serious comes to mind. Touchpad buttons are loud but it is not really an issue.
