"It's a computer, what do you want from it?"
Pros: It runs. It goes on the internet. It preforms basic everyday computer functions at a basic speed. I loved the mic/webcam. Keyboard is fairly roomy. The battery lasts exactly how long it says it will ( roughly 2 1/2 hours.
Cons: Gets warm fairly fast (if your a lap person this is a problem), keys are "clicky" and I constantly have problems with the mouse. Being on the internet sucks because it keeps booting me off even though i have a great signal. problems with the OS.
Summary: This computer does the basic functions a computer with a webcam is suposed to do. Wouldnt take this to school or work with me, but for a kid or to play simple games (were talking bejewled) your all set. Battery life is basic, and I keep having problems with vista (but I'm a xp person so that might be me). The laptop sucks for internet for me. I have very expensive wireless internet set up in my house but the computer cant seem to figure that out. It will say it has a excellent signal yet wont connect. The computer is all of a week old and Im already having issues. This was a gift so I'm just happy to have a computer. Personally I'd go with a differant OS, that might just be the problems Im having. I absolutly hate the mouse though. I am this (_) close to buying a external mouse because the mousepad on the computer SUCKS. It would be a complete deal breaker for me its that bad. Its SUPER sensitive and highlights everything. Would I buy another computer over this one if I had the option? YES. Does it do what it says it will? yes. Am i compleatly annoyed the mouse has a life of its own and I'll be lucky to navagate to the next page? yes. Make sure you can deal with the quirks before buying.
