    Pros: Core i7 with Sandy Bridge
    Lightweight at 1.4kg
    Battery life
    Very portable.

    Cons: Keyboard cramped.
    Too much bloatware from Toshiba

    Summary: Basically before purchasing this laptop, I came over to CNET to check out the user reviews and now it is time for me to return the favour. Specifications of the Portege may vary since I am living in Asia. I bought the Portege R830 with a core i7 2620m processor, 8GB of RAM and 500GB SATA HDD. This laptop may weigh like a netbook however it is just as powerful as any other high-end laptop like the 13inch MacBook Pro. With the Core i7, this laptop runs fasts and scores a benchmark of over 6000 for Geekbench 2.2. It is suitable for someone who needs a lightweight laptop which can deliver the performance found on laptops like the Macbook Pro.
