"Looks smooth, runs not so smooth."
Pros: Sleek design, big beautiful picture, sounds great
Cons: Battery runs out fast, issues with memory and cooling fan, lots of things to fix.
Summary: First I should say that I personally love Toshiba's. I love the great designs and huge screens. It's perfect for watching Dvds or playing games on. However, when it comes to quality this laptop seemed lacking. My memory quickly went down on the computer, then my adapter quit working which I had to replace 3 times. Eventually I had to replace the battery because unless it was constantly plugged into the adapter it wouldn't work. Also I had some issues with my cooling fan. Now I am paying monthly payments on that laptop while it doesn't even work. If you choose to get this laptop I highly suggest getting the protection plan. I realize most people with this laptop may not have the same issues as I have and besides those problems over the last 2 years it has kept me very entertained with the amazing picture and loud sound. Overall I'd rate it a 6. It's worth it if you have the protection plan to go along with it just in case. Now I own the Dell XPS M2010 laptop and it is amazing. Not one issue for the months I've owned it. Nothing but outstanding performance so far as I expected with Dell. Good luck to anyone searching for a laptop.
