    Pros: great overall

    Cons: bad disc drive

    Summary: My first two computers were desktops. This was my third and I may never go back to a desktop again. Its been nearly 4 years since I bought it and I don't feel left behind by computers that are sold today. The only exception is gaming as it only has 32 MB video memory and many games now require 64 MB.

    I may have rated this as high as a 9 but I've had some problems with the disc drive. Occasionally the drive will fail to read media and I have to open and close the drive repeatedly until it mounts. I had the drive replaced but the problem has recurred. I also had a problem with a speaker but that happened during the disc drive repairs so the technitian may have damaged it. Subsequently they replaced the speaker.
