Summary: Not being a gamer or a CAD user, this laptop suits my everyday business and home use needs. The screen is clear and bright and apps load quickly. I had no trouble transferring large music and program files from my desktop using a Belkin USB transfer cable. I had not trouble using Photoshop to scan images in using my old Canon scanner. The keyboard is full sized and there are plenty of ports for connecting external devices. All in all I'm very satisfied at this point, but longevity is an unknown.

Pros: Value and Great Feature Set
Cons: Needs an extra GB of ram right out of the box.
Summary: After configuring this system for a client I had to have one. At the time of order it's the best laptop for the amount I paid ($749.99 after rebate @ CompUSA). It's a fair weight, looks great, and has an awesome screen. My only complaint about this unit is it needed to have an extra 1GB of ram added to it right out of the box (Less than $80). Go Toshiba!

Pros: Sleek and good screen quality!!!
Cons: Slow to start up and to shut down
Summary: O my God its so slow to start up. Thank God I didn't buy this laptop with my money. I won it in a raffle. Its like an old car, you have to wait for it to worm up to actually do something with it. You have to wait at least 5 min for it to start up. Once it gets going then its fine. But I'm going to tell you one thing Vista sucks. The next laptop I'm going to buy will be an Apple.

Pros: The only good thing I can say is that I did like the convience of having a lap top... when it worked......
Cons: I have had nothing but issues since I bought it. 1st the video card, then the screen dims by its self, then the hard drive, its always slow, poor memory. Toshiba and the warranty company wont stand my this POS. GET A DELL NOT TOSHIBA!
Summary: The pc is crap and neither toshiba or the warranty companies will stand by thier product or repairs. I have lost all my info several times because this is an unreliable pc. I just had my hard drive replaced a few months ago, it broke again about a week before ther warranty was up, I called the center who sent me a box to send it in, they kept my pc for 2 weeks, never fixed it and sent it back unfixed... now since they held it past my 90 day warranty period, they wont fix the hard drive they just replaced.. so buy Dell at least they stand by their products.

Cons: buying an extended warranty they never planned to honor
Summary: Now I know why Toshiba has an "F" rating for the Better Business Bureau and that's because it was the lowest rating they could give these charlatans.
