"TOSHIBA FAILS" By CarolynSW

Pros: Easy to use , wireless, large screen for a laptop.

Cons: Screen goes black and it requires hard boot. The bios update Toshiba provides to prevent this problem destroy the laptop making it an expensive paper weight. Toshiba offers no resolution for the many end users that have used their destructive fix.

"Great laptop for the price." By man4jc

Pros: The price was very reasonable (on sale for $599). I like the large screen, the large hard drive, and the keyboard. I have had it about two weeks and am satisfied.

Cons: Battery life seems a little short. It also seems to operate a little on the warm side, although this is my first laptop and I don't have anything with which to compare it.

Summary: I think I got a fair deal, although I wish I had gotten 2 gigs of RAM, and may upgrade before long. This is my first laptop and I have not gotten my wireless network set up at home yet, so I cannot rate that aspect of this unit.
