"Good enough for the price"
Pros: The Screen is gorgeous. Briliant and clear - no visibly dead pixels. It's fairly quiet running. I was able ( no help from Toshiba ) to find all of the drivers to make the system function fully in XP and Linux ( including the atheros wireless ) .
Cons: BATTERY LIFE - The battery life is next to non-existent. Good enough for short trips away from the charger. SHIPS WITH VISTA ONLY! Yuck. I dealt with the sludgy os for a month before I eradicated it.
Summary: For the price, it's a excellent deal for a midrange user. I've been running photoshop and premier without issues. It's not too heavy and I'd recommend it to my mid-range and beginning clients.
