Pros: Very classy unit, easy setup, when it worked, it worked well, fast connection with the i7 processor.
Cons: First unit the hard drive was shot in 2 weeks of purchasing, 2nd unit power cord blew out in less than a week. Horrible customer service
Summary: I purchased my first toshiba on 03/05/10 and was told this was the laptop for me, (i wanted a computer to play Sims3). brought it home worked well for the first week, 2nd week it starting powering off unexpectantly during simple face book games like farmville and zoo world. Talked to Toshiba tech support tried several things, they had no clue what they were doing, they had me restore the computer and told me it would be fine.. it wasn't. Took this back to Best Buy, and got a new one on 03/24/2010, this past weekend the ac adapter was shot, would not charge the battery. I called Toshiba and the only way they would sent me a new one is if I gave them my credit card to charge $101.50 plus shipping. They said that they would refund me within 30 days if they received the defective ac adapter! I was pissed, because this was a brand new laptop and I had to pay to get it fixed!! I asked for a manager and was told I was speaking to a case manager and they were the highest level of authority and got hung up on! bull crap! .... I took the laptop back to best buy and got a different brand. Toshiba Customer Service is horrible, not to mention 2 computers in 30 days were defective!!! Do not buy Toshiba... if it breaks down your screwed!
