"dead at 100 days from MFG defect"
Pros: Its nice if it boots up
Cons: its dead and im out my 1000 dollars
Summary: I bought a refurbished unit..
it froze up occasionally .. but otherwise great.
then at about 100 days it wouldn't boot up.
took it in .. they had to short the motherboard to reset the bios?? come on..
60$... Ever heard of a RESET BUTTON?
i get it back 1 week later... it dies again
i take it back the memory is dead.. to fix it requires a motherboard replacement
350$ then i find out that my model has a defect that causes shorting from the speakers into the motherboard.. great ..
what a piece of garbage
I'll never buy annother toshiba product as long as i live
the real irritating thing is that Toshiba knew these things were defective but they are selling them remanufactured w/o fixing the defect ... NICE....
