Pros: I purchased mine 3 years ago and have had little to no issue with the overall use. The portability is great, the wifi connections are easy and fast. For the price its the best on the market. I replaced my Dell with the Toshiba L355 and love it.
Cons: I really haven't had any great issues with this model except for updates. Not sure if its a conflict between Toshiba and Vista but I sometimes need to install updates manually.
Summary: Overall I give this unit a thumbs up. I recommend it to anyone.

Pros: Fast for it's day. Good memory. Pretty reliable. Runs good on Win 7. very portable. WiFi connects easily. Screen resolution is good. Plays movies well. WiFi downloads are quick. Good software package. Travels well for 17". Can use up to 1gb hard
Cons: Harddrive crashed after 2 years, but wife uses it as desktop replacement. Screen res is low end BlueRay at 1400x900.
Summary: Worth the money at the time we purchased it. If you are looking for a good used laptop, buy one.

Pros: I like how after all the time its been damaged ive been able to get it to continue to work
Cons: it doesnt work very well with vista it wont even accept vista's product key no matter what!
Summary: Lets just say its not worth the money you have to put into it to get it to work

Pros: The laptop worked great but it had Vista bad bad bad it ran super hot each time we started it it was get slower and slower i loved the big screen the color was great it DIED 16 hours after the warranty was up the hard drive died
Cons: we where takeing a fam Trip all the photos from the 1st week of our trip along with our road map and my last show that i recorded of my band was gone for ever. Toshiba said they would fix it so we mailed it off and they lost it.
Summary: 3 months Later we got the computer back Who knows where it went when it came back they had said they would load it with Win 7 but it had Vista so i got my own copy of Win7 loaded it and it has worked great ever sence IF YOU HAVE THE L355D-S7901 Do not run it with out a cooling plate under it if you are running Vista reload it with Win7 the computer took a fall last june broke the screen i got a new one still works great im typeing on it right now I would buy another one if i could find one O yeah ALLWAYS KEEP A BACK U DRIVE AROUND BACK UP ALL THE TIME. when this laptop died we went to best buy and got the new modle that was made to replace this one it still works great to this day it came with Win 7 on it

"Absolute crap & waste of a lot of money" on by 4thwalldown
Pros: In its brief existence it was a good computer. However Toshiba does not stand behind its products.
Cons: As 1 year warranty expired motherboard & video card died. Both replaced.6 mos later both are gone dead again. Toshiba's nasty customer service refuses to stand behind product.Repair is $1100.$1800 computer is now in a landfill.
Summary: Do not buy from Toshiba under any circumstance. Their expensive products and my experience wasting $1800 on their top end computer was a total loss in less than a year & a half. I only hope that this comment will prevent others from buying anything Toshiba. Please tell me if it does: 4thwalldown@gmail.com
