"A little extra can go a long way!"
Pros: Powerful, fast, loud
Cons: Fan noise, weight, size
Summary: I've had this computer for over a year and a half. The first few months I had it, I disliked it a lot - The fans were always blowing so hard and 512mb just wasn't cutting it for running my designing programs. I upgraded the RAM to 2gb ($300) and played with the "cooling" settings on the control panel - Since then, the computer has been incredible! It's quieter, because the processor isn't working overtime, and the speed is incredible!
I'm doing high quality video editing, website development through flash, and running photo editing software using an external vga monitor all on this machine.
The only thing I would change would be how heavy it is, and I believe I've seen the newer models do just that.
All-in-all, $2400 (w. Warranty from Best Buy and upgrades) is completely worth it!

The good news. I have an extended warranty. The bad news. The fan assembly was poorly designed. The warranty has covered five replacements over the 3 years I've owned my machine.
