Even though the T215D-S1140RD was a faster multitasker than its 2009 T115 cousin, the price was paid in battery life: with a six-cell battery, this laptop ran for 3 hours and 49 minutes using our video playback battery drain test. Last year's T115 lasted well over 5 hours. Whereas the last version had excellent battery life, this year's results are disappointingly average.
