"Do not buy a Dell 1320c printer. Poor quality results." on by philsills
Pros: Once you have reached Dell printer service in Manila, they will do their level best to transfer you here and there until you hang up in frustration. They are so good at hide-and-seek, after two or three days on hold, you forget why you called them
Cons: Where to begin, toner cost more than printer, poor color copies, frequent paper jams, non-existant service, crinkles envelopes, all in all, Dell is giving away 1320c with hopes you'll buy toner. A typical razor blade marketing scenario.
Summary: Dell can solve this problem by standing behind their products, unfortunately, they have outsouced their problems to a company in Manila whose mantra is to make the complaints go away. It's a marvellous tactic.

"Don't Buy Until You Check Out the Cost of Toner" on by TurfgrassZealot
Pros: Small Footprint. Easy Setup. Decent Price.
Cons: Toner carts are way expensive and don't last as advertised.
Summary: Multiple calls to Dell has (gee...big surprise!!) yielded no help. Toner carts that are rated for 2000 copies are running out around 300-400. They are $82 each and you buy the individual colors. The low price doesn't seem to be worth it. Will put this sucker on Craigs List soon. Not a Bargain!!!

"fast, good quality and robust printer. home/smal office" on by Tyndarus
Pros: -bargain on dell.be, only cost me 150 eur or so(4 years ago, with a discount)
-quite robust (it gets moved every once and a while, sometimes a hit from my foot (under my desk)),
but still the same printing quality :D
-i think it's quite fast, and with toCons: -if it's for home use it's quite large (gotta keep it under my desk to spare room)
-trying to get a dell 1320c network key adapter, but can't get it in europe anymore...Summary: pro's outweigh cons (for me at least) if i would go back 4 years ago i'dd buy the same printer again,
if i'd buy one today, i'd pick a smaller one... -
"No definitive fix for common problem from Dell." on by Fred_Fox
Pros: None, that I can think of.
Cons: After time, the printing on the left side of the page fades. If you look on the internet, this is a fairly common problem. Dell suggestion didn't work... Replace Drum @ $150+ didn't work. Loud
Summary: Dell should stick with just selling computers.
