"Good overall, paper rollers cause paper jams over time"
Pros: The best of these 3 Custom Labeled Lexmark printers. A gain in web interface speed, update firmwere function. 1700n gave error "You need to install java to update", had no Win XP64 drivers, and the paper feed wheel motion sensor problem was fixed.
Cons: Dell/Lexmark 17xx series all have a paper feed rubber-band wheel dry-out problem that causes paper jams (located on the roof of the paper tray compartment), using a damp cloth to clean the paper powder off of the rubber wheel bands is a temp fix.
Summary: Overall a good general use printer and a definte step up from the predecessors. Avoid the 1700n like the plague. No 64 bit drivers avail, but you can use the 1710n 64 bit drivers installed local and add the network port to make it work, but who wants to do that on every business pc in this day and age?
