"Use 2 in a campus computer lab" on
Pros: Our students only pay .10/page to print color, however expect smudging and streaking. So we do a lot of refunds. It is fast but so what if the prints are crap.
Cons: After a while the colors on a print smear and streak as being printed. It as if teh toner cannot get on the page at the rate it is travaling through the printer.

I agree. When used a s a home office printer with light duty printing, no problems. Anything approaching 20+pages at a time and it streaks.

I registered on this site just so that I could post the truth about this printer. I've been at the Dell site for months trying to get some support: Nothing doing! There is a known issue with the print driver that makes it impossible to print more than 1 envelope at a time.

I've bought several of these printers and each one of them has been spot on - there was a small problem with one of them - basically caused by some muppet spilling toner all over the place inside it. Dell still came out the next day and helped us out.<br><br>The printer is excellent. The price is phenomenal, and the service is pretty damn good as well
