"Excellent Value for the Money" on by ljkdhall
Pros: Quick, good quality, easy to service
Cons: Nothing significant
Summary: Bought 3 of these to upgrade departments at my employer. Also looked at printers by HP and Lexmark, but this printer was half the price of
comparable printers. Fast printer, easy to setup and run. Reliable so far...we have a system that puts some demands on printers, especially that the Postscript be just right...these printers work flawlessly for us. -
"ENVELOPE FEEDER MAKES A HORRIBLE RATTLE" on
Pros: inexpensive, highly scaleable, and good looking.
Cons: ENVELOPES MAKES A HIDEOUS AND HORRIBLE "RATTLE" THAT IS --GET THIS-- "BY DESIGN." Apparently, the printer generates air pressure to keep the envelopes from crinkling. Its called "envelope enhancement." You can turn it off, and get mangled envelopes. L

"Sweet and Cheap" on
Pros: Cheap, Great performance. I got rid of all my HP's to replace with Dell lasers. Call Dell and they offer even better deals on these than online!
Cons: none

"Manual really stinks" on
Pros: If plug-n-Play: well, OK. But if you want to use the features of the printer, then good luck.
Cons: Missing from manual: Which is drawer 1,2,3? What printer is it closest to for AS400 config? Any pictures of mounting drawers, duplex, toner, jams, etc? Helpline?

Cons: Very average printing quality, I don't want to say bad printing quality, how ever overall not a good printer, specially comparing to HP and Brother
