The EPSON EPL-5700 combines sharp, high-resolution text with fast 8 ppm output. Compact enough to fit on any desktop, and ready to deliver higher performance and value, the EPL-5700 also offers exceptionally easy networking capabilities. It's a smart business investment that will save you both time and money. With EPSON's proprietary MicroGray 1200 technology, the EPL-5700 is ready to provide top class output. You can also enjoy clear, detailed screens when printing graphs. All-round text printing capability is yours too with a host of on-board Windows compatible scalable fonts. With print speeds of up to 8 ppm and featuring 4 Mb of memory (expandable to 36 Mb by SIMMS), large-volume tasks are completed in a fraction of the time. For even more convenience, the EPL-5700 lets you set frequently used functions with just four switch buttons, while providing visual confirmation of major operations with six LEDs. In a Windows environment, the EPSON Status Monitor offers at-a-glance confirmation of paper availability, remaining toner, paper size and other information on your PC screen. Whether you are a basic or power user, you'll appreciate the added convenience the EPL-5700's multiple driver functions offer. The "Print Layout" function lets you easily lay out 2 or 4 pages of data on a single page. And you can enlarge or condense text and graphics from 50% to 200% with the Zoom function. There's even a Watermark function for printing watermark images or text on documents. For extra versatility, the EPL-5700 offers support for multiplatform environments like Macintosh, Windows 95 and Windows NT. Type B interface cards provide extra flexibility of high-speed networking, and allowing your entire office to make the most of the EPL-5700's functions.
