Pros: Excellent black printing at 2400 dpi, AND able to use just the black toner.
Paper tray takes up to 500 pages.
LCD Display clear and all information is there.
USB and Ethernet support.
2nd Tray can print on letterhead paper without any issues.
Toner level

Cons: Slow speed for the first page to come out.
Only one tray.

Summary: First off, STUPID PEOPLE who do NOT read the Laserjet USERS MANUAL and do not SEARCH THE INTERNET FIRST for a solution, are REALLY DROP DEAD DUMB. Yes, I have seen ALL the reviews that say "the toner is expensive, the toner finishes quickly, when the black runs out, so do the rest" blah blah blah BLAH.

The trick is, on this printer, THERE IS A WAY for you to turn off the feature, so that when one toner runs out, the other toners still work!!! GO FIGURE?? So that means, if your black runs out, you can still print with Cyan, Magenta and Yellow. In fact, you can print until all the toners run out of their dye powders!! You could even print until you burn the Toner drum, after the dyes have finished, if you want to! Look online to find a solution, there is one! (Hint: Go to your menu, System setup, print quality. Select Print supplies and choose the OVERRIDE OUT selection, and that's it!)

By the far, this is the best colour Laserjet printer I have purchased. I have purchased even more expensive Laserjet printers from HP before, but this one is by far the best priced, and the best I have used.

I own a company, and I tend to print alot more black and white printout than colour, but when printing in colour, the printing is actually quite good. I have purchased a new set of toners after 3 1/2 years. So far, I have printed 70 pages and I still have 97% of my toners left. In fact, when possible, I print on the DRAFT/low quality mode, when selecting things that do need such high resolution, as well as printing with the "Print text as black only" and I find that I save toner that was too.

It is a bit slow when printing the first page out, but once the first page comes out, subsequent pages after that are pretty quick.

I am very delighted with this printer. The toners are costly, but when disabling the toner override out selection, you can use the toners up until they are completely finished. In fact, if one toner runs out (say the black has just finished), you can replace just THAT toner. Pretty good stuff.

I have enjoyed this printer thus far and will continue to enjoy it. I have printed about 4,000 pages total so far, but I know it could last for very, very long.
