"Its inexpensive and it works."
Pros: Fast. Relatively quiet. Small Footprint. Works with XP, Vista, Linux.
Cons: As with all HP products, toner cartridge not cheap.

Pros: Small footprint
Cons: This small printer is so HOT that mine smokes, literally. Everytime a page is printed smoke comes out along with the printed page. First unit I returned, & second unit does the same. OH did I mention the large clunking sound as it starts to print?

Pros: Small footprint
Cons: Output is the worst ever. Exchanged printers, toner, installed fresh new drivers, but the problem keeps happening. I guess is not compatible with Macs.

Pros: Absolutely quiet, can't even tell when it's printing from across the room. Runs cool. Excellent 1200 dpi enhanced print resolution. Very small, fits in my wife's bookcase shlf.
Cons: Toner cost is not the cheapest, but for a $50-on-sale printer, HP has to make money somewhere.
