"Poor toner adhesion on many brands of flat white laser labels"

Cons Poor toner adhesion on many brands of flat white laser labels
Summary At first I thought I had made another great HP Laserjet purchase. Very fast, small and light printer. But then we noticed the toner on the printed labels was flaking off. Not in big chunks, but in small specks, even after allowing time for drying. Toner could also smear with a dry rub of the fingers. Totally unacceptable. Yields an unattractive printout and leaves toner in places I don't want it (i.e., my clean lab). As such, I'll have to trade this one in.

"Severe toner adhesion problems produce unacceptable results"
on by PsyGeekPros Nothing that offsets toner adhesion problems
Cons Unacceptable print quality
Summary This printer produced acceptable results on Xerox 4200 20 lb. copy paper **but nothing else.** The toner failed to adhere to any envelope in the office or to two brands of premium smooth uncoated paper, both of which are guaranteed to work with lasers (and always have worked beautifully with every other laser printer I've owned, including a HP 2300 and a new HP P3005dn). I got the same abysmal results on the display unit at the store, so the problem does not appear to be due to a defect in one machine. HP Tech Support admitted that the range of papers that will work with the 2015 is much more limited than with other printers. Try this machine with your papers, including envelopes, before buying.
