"Multiple issues with printers"
Pros: I purchased these printers because of HP's ease of maintenance, low cost per page and past reliability.
Cons: Reliability is no longer there as well as the support. Too many problems with printer components.
Summary: I purchased three P3005dn printers in July 08 and deployed them to moderately high volume areas. In Dec 08 I had to have the Fuser assy replaced on one unit. In Nov 08 I purchased Six more P3005dn printers. In Jan 09 I had to replace the bad Formatter board in one unit, Feb 09 had to replace the same board in another unit. This month (Oct 09) I'm having a broken gear replaced on one unit (warranty) and the Fuser replaced on another unit. Out of Nine printers that I purchased I've had 5 repaired, one twice. HP's customer support has been inadequate at best and the fact I had to pay for warranty ship to HP & onsite service call is NOT good business. I will be switching printer brands as I replace the 200 printers in my company.
