"Absolute nightmare of a product and experience."0.5 starson by FChen17213
Pros: It was decent when it worked.
Cons: Bought two of these. They just kept breaking and did not work. To make it even worse, HP sent me replacements that broke literally within hours of receiving them. This is an absolute disaster on both the product and HP service. Beware Beware
Summary: I purchased one. It lasted a few months and broke. I sent it in to get it fixed. HP sent it back with feeding issues. Since the printer didn't seem like it would last much longer, I bought another one. The used the other one for 2 months before it broke. Then I sent it back and put the first one back in service. When HP shipped me a 3rd printer, the 3rd printer broke before I even had time to ship the 2nd one back. After shipping the 2nd one back, I reverted back to the 1st one. The first one then crapped out and broke within 2 days. I have spent over 4 and a half hours on the phone with HP's support staff which made me do the same diagnostics over and over. They were not particularly helpful, understanding, and really did not offer any sort of relief. They still charged me around 70 dollars for a "direct exchange replacement" Well, this replacement they sent broke on the first day. I literally stood in my office with 3 broken P3005dns at one time. This disastrous experience cost me tons of money in my business. I have completely and utterly lost faith in all HP printers, and even if HP sent me another new one (assuming it worked) I would have such low confidence in it that I would have to buy another printer of another brand to be on constant standby. It's not "if" this printer will break, it is just "when" it will lockup and malfunction.
