"Cheaply made and overpriced" on by jwhyms
Pros: fast printing
Cons: Bad printer drivers. Menu panel is too small. Compared to the Laserjet 4250tn, the construction of this unit is very poor. For example the hinges on the manual tray door will easily break.
Summary: This printer is heavier than the HP 4250tn but is poorly made. HP is still having problems with the printer drivers. For example if you set the printer driver to use ltrhead, the driver will switch back to automatic instead. There are several other issues as well. One of my biggest gripes is the menu panel which is much too small and very poorly lit. In a typical office lighting environment you cannot see the panel. It is very apparent that the construction of the printer is very cheaply made with flimsy plastic. I would strongly advise getting the extended support agreement.

"Great workhorse printer. My warehouse ops love them." on by donnaber
Pros: 1. Super Fast 2. 1500 Sheet tray option. 3. Price was good. $1522
Cons: Could be more warehouse friendly. But we have printer covers and that fixes the dust problem.
Summary: These printer are fast, small and fit the budget. The list prce for this unit is around $1800 and if you can't get your vendor to go lower, you obviously need a lesson in how to bargin. I got mine for $1522 from PC Mall. We liked them so much we bought more.
