When these first arrived and replaced much larger Laserjets that we had, I thought it must have been a budget issue... that they bought home printers instead of buying real office printers. They replaced Laserjets that stood on their own, wheels and all, with one that you can set on a table. They're not big and bulky or anything like what I've always considered "real" office printers.
That was maybe a year or so ago, and these things can take it. I work in one of the largest agencies in Texas, in the legal department (meaning lots of paperwork), and if these can do well here, they should be handle just about any professional environment.
It really seems like it can do anything you'd expect from a printer, but to look at it you'd think it was just an ordinary home printer. Wolf in sheep's clothing? Anyway, in order for me to like it, it had to perform at a level to overcome my initial distaste for it. And it did.
Today I was wondering how much these things cost, still figuring maybe they're cheap enough so that I could buy one for home... umm, nope. Instead, I wrote this review.
