"Firmware update will cost $224/year"
Pros: Good work horse printer
Cons: Fuser and firmware service call constantly
Summary: We brought ten FS2000D printer for our computer labs. After a few thousands page printed, 50% of these printer require costly service repairs. There are two types: 1. Call service: 0150 (firmware update required), 2. Call Service: 6030 (fuser overheating). When we contacted Kyocera, we were told only a dealer can update firmware, and they will release a new firmware version once a year. So we contacted a local dealer, which charges $224 per machine per hour to look at the problem. We will not buy from Kyocera again. Back to HP.
