Driven by a 266 MHz processor, the Lexmark C720 color laser printer delivers speeds of 24 ppm for monochrome and 6 ppm color print jobs. You will see your first page in 15 seconds for monochrome and 22.5 seconds for color jobs. The Lexmark C720 is the only workgroup printer you'll need, performing all of the functions, both monochrome and color, required by demanding workgroups. The 2400 Image Quality mode is the default setting on the Lexmark C720 color laser printer. 2400 Image Quality uses advanced halftone screening methods for improved output quality over 600 dpi. Now you can have professional looking output without a speed penalty. Business graphics and documents will look great, making a favorable impression on their intended recipient. Text will be sharp and colors will be solid, bright, and beautiful. Photo Enhancement Technology is another print quality feature on the Lexmark C720. Photo Enhancement Technology removes halftone screening artifacts which makes images appear more natural, and allows the C720 to deliver photographic output rivaling that of high-end inkjet printers. High-resolution photographs can now be incorporated into presentations or other customer level documents in order to maximize the impression made by these documents. One example of an application where Photo Enhancement Technology can provide a great benefit is in the production of home sheets for real estate. Front-loading cartridges and top-loading supplies make supply replacement on the Lexmark C720 easy and fast. The front and top loading design makes it much easier and more logical for users to change supply items and relieve the maintenance burden on IT. In fact, customer evaluations to date have shown that the design of the toner cartridge area makes replacement easier than many monochrome printers. The Lexmark C720 also gives you the option to add multifunction fax, scan and copy capabilities.
