"One of the most inexpensive auto-duplexers available"
Pros: Outstanding print quality, auto-duplexing
Cons: More expensive than most other basic lasers
Summary: This printer retails for around CDN$230-250, which puts it in the higher range for such a basic laser printer. As I see it, you're paying extra here for the auto-duplexing. If you can afford it, though, you won't be at all disappointed. As the CNET reviewer has noted, print quality is outstanding with text and graphics, and speeds are fine for average users - I'm not thinking of a high-volume large office setting. This printer takes about 20 seconds to warm up, so you won't be waiting long. Despite all this, I'm most impressed with the auto-duplexer, which enables me to halve my paper usage without taking the time to flip the paper. Since I tend to print many documents at once, I save time as well. Consider this printer (and the E250dn, which is practically identical) if you're in the market for a basic laser, you want great print quality, and you prefer not to waste paper by one-siding or time by double-siding the hard way.
