"Very fast, efficient printer, easy to install"
Pros: 2 sided network/usb/parallel connection; postscript capable and compatible with windows/mac/desktop/laptop/wi red/wireless mixed network
Cons: Resource saving features should be easier to access from system print windows
Summary: Bought at Staples Calgary for $200 including recycle tax and GST. This printer took about 15 minutes per computer to install on a family mixed mac/pc/desktop/wireless laptop network. The instructions that the machine comes with are strictly graphical so although this is dead easy to set up, some prior idea of how printers are physcially hooked up is helpful. The setup CD is excellent and found the printer easily once it was powered up and plugged into the network router with an ethernet cable, which is cheaper than the typical $30 USB cable folks need to buy. There are parallel and USB ports also on this unit. For the price this is a fantastic tourble free printer for someone who needs to print alot at home like a writer or for a small frugal office, worth every penny of the $ spent above the price of an entry level B&W laser or inkjet printer. The memory is expandable and is specified on the Kingston memory website and available ofr $23 on the dell.ca website listings for higher end lexmark printer upgrades.
