"Cheap printer -- Expensive Toner"
Pros: fast compared to printers of just a couple years ago, small, looks good.
Cons: Prints too lightly, no matter what the settings. And, while normal text is simply too light, text on envelopes is absolutely horrible. Probably a problem with the starter toner cartridge as they seem to be having quality control issues and supply issues w

"Running OS X, NEVER BUY a ML 1710"

"Can't print #10 env, black print too light"
Pros: Fast copies for regular 8.5 X 11 paper.
Cons: Color of black toner is way too light, attempt at buying a 2nd cartridge didn't make black any darker. Nowhere near HP quality. Don't even think about printing #10 envelopes! Hand inserting is a royal pain the _ss. What a nightmare of glitches and setting
