"Don't bother!" on by ScooterC
Pros: When it Prints, its good.
Cons: As has been stated:
Constant Jambs and refusal to accept new paper.
No drivers for Win 7, making it uselessSummary: Panasonic is no longer in the printer business!
The price is right IF you have XP-Pro and never intend to upgrade! -
"Worth the money" on by arionly
Pros: Duplex; laser, purchased for $99
Cons: Jams towards end of toner life
Summary: I've enjoyed this printer. Paid only $99 for it and now I need a new toner cartridge which I found for under $40. I hope when the toner cartridge is replaced that the jamming will stop. I definitely got my monies worth our of this printer. It's been very reliable. However, panasonic has not maintained the support for this printer.

"Never ending Jams" on by cmw328i
Pros: Good print quality, auto duplexing
Cons: Whats the use of a printer that doesnt work?
Summary: I've had this printer 4 years. I got it because it was cheap and had the duplexing option. But here I am tonight trying to use it to print on laser compatible award certificates and i'm lucky to get one out every 10 minutes or so. If it ever manages to actually pick up the paper from the tray, it jams, and not because the paper is stuck, just because it wants to. And FORGET manual feed, it claims its jammed before it even tries to pull in the paper!
by far the most disappointing product ever! -
"This printer is like a girl with PMS" on by Haroldw
Pros: When and If it decides to print, It comes out great
Cons: It will throw fits and Wont print on you because
Summary: This printer If it decides to deny you of your documents will either fake a jam, pretend the tray is empty, Jam while feeding for no reason, It will either feed alittle bit and the paper is still in the tray, or feed it half way, or feed it all the way past the toner into the fusion reactor and get stuck. This printer is VERY VERY MOODY
Updated
I forgot to mention, replacement toner is about 70 bucks and replacement drum is about 130, even thou this printer with rebate is like 50 bucks... If you didn't throw it out already, sell the parts off

"Big printer, little price." on
Pros: The price is great, duplex is nice. I have 8,917 pages on mine, and just pull the plug on the toner, dump in some loose toner out of a canister ($30 CDN = 4 fills), lithium grease, and rub the rollers with alcohol. I've also shoved cereal boxes through
Cons: The printer is usually fine and doesn't jamb on cheap stock, but envelopes jamb about 20% of the time. Only one media tray. Toners cost 80% of purchase price.
