Pros: The speed and image quality of this printer will knock your socks off. It cranks out beautiful rich 8x10 photos that I think look better than any laser I've seen and does it. Maybe solid ink is the next big thing.
Cons: Stamps.com software won't print envelopes on the 8400, but other software (Word, Publisher) printed envelopes without a hitch.

Cons: Takes 12 minutes for first warm-up. Strong odor when warming inks for the first time (but not thereafter). If in power-save mode, need to wait a couple of minutes for first page. Colored ink sticks cost $99 per color (good for 3600 sheets).

"Per copy lifetime cost is excellent"
Pros: first copy out is real fast, calculate the toner packs which give you over 10,000 pages for under $400 and the drum life etc.
Cons: none

Pros: Prints quick and easy, with great quality. Lots of media options, and a vast improvement over earlier Phasers.
Cons: Originally thought the price of replacement ink was high, but found perfectly compatible ink at phaserink.com for much cheaper.
