"Great printer, great features" on
Pros: Without question the ability for double sided printing right out of the box has been great! Saves paper and time. The printer is also very quick and churns through anything I can throw at it.
Cons: 1.) The duplex printing gets mixed up if documents have an odd number of pages and you print more than one copy. The first page of the second copy winds up stuck the back of the first document. You have to print each copy individually. 2.) No way to shut

"User friendly set up except for wireless" on by jacky2152
Pros: Easy to set up for USB. Fast, quiet. Duplexer works very well.
Cons: Not being an IT person, the instructions for setting up for wireless are too skimpy for tech illiterates.
Summary: Have only had this for 1 day. Very easy setup when connected by USB, even for me. But the reason I purchased this model was its wireless capabilities. After loading the driver and the sync CDs, I tried to follow the SYNC instructions (Start-> Program -> Samsung Network Printer Untilities -> SetIP-> SetIP.exe) but I do not get the last choice 'SetIP.exe' Therefore I am stymied. Anyone who could help a computer illiterate complete the wireless connection would be a hero. I can find my laptop's IP address, subnet Mask and Default Gateway, but I dodn't know how they relate to the same items I'm supposed to complete for the printer. I do know that the IP address on my laptop changes all the time depending on what is assigned it by the wireless network, and that the IP address for the printer should be different from the IP address of any other hardware, but how it should differ - now that's the rub. Also how do I print the network printer card test page on printer's front panel to get the network card's MAC address?
