"Don't waste your money" on by Ford2581
Pros: I guess the cost
Cons: Everything. The paper feeder constantly has issues with catching the paper. You can't load more then 100 sheets if you do it will NOT print at all. The manual feeder constantly pulls the paper in sideways and jams. Cheap design.
Summary: Don't waste your money on this printer. Your better off getting an older used HP Laserjet 2300L. But if you like constant paper jams this is the printer for you.

"2571N doesn't have network functionality" on by jakeher
Pros: speed, efficiency of laser printing in a small box
Cons: Network functionality is questionable
Summary: Although it is supposed to have network functionality the software used to load the printer with my PC only works as a "local" printer not as a network printer. I have tried to establish a tcp/itp for this printer but the software to set up a network does not seem to recognize this. Instructions from Samsung are abysmally stupid and incomplete.

"Great for home use" on by jim18925
Pros: Speed, text quality, network ready.
Cons: Noise, duplexing would be great.
Summary: The Samsung ML-2571N is a terrific laser for home use in a network environment. It's fast with good quality. We have both Windows-based and Apple machines using the same printer. After 4 months of use, no problems. My only criticism ... it's a little noisy. However, for the price, I can afford ear plugs.
