Pros Easy to read, bright, & sturdy
Cons Acer logo screen when turning on monitor. Blue light power button would be nice.
Summary I am pretty impressed with this 19" wide screen. I got mine from Tiger Direct for $205 shipped. It's nice having a lot of room for different applications. The only 2 things I hate (but I can live with easily) are when you turn the monitor on it shows an Acer logo before completely turning on and the power button light is green when it would be a lot better being a bright blue.
Pros Cheap; for home users might be all that you'll need
Cons Quality is in "you get what you pay for" category
Summary Compared to a 2-year old Samsung I was using, the lower quality of this screen - in terms of build and onscreen image/colour - is readily apparent. But at the price you really can't complain: 2 years ago I bought the Samsung at twice the price of this Acer.
If all you want is to play games and watch DVDs, this is more than good enough. For more serious applications like Photoshop or video editing, you'll still need to spend double the price. There's no such thing as a free lunch.

Cons a defective cable in the box
Summary Very cheap, excellent image, excellent performance, the only problem I found was a defective cable in the box. Fortunately enough I had one just like the one with problems, so I was able to be running quickly. Thanks Acer
