Acer H233H

Pros: 1080p, vivid colors and 23 widescreen

Cons: only last 5 months then the problems start. It comes with very weak sounding speakers.

Summary: I was very impressed when I bought this monitor back in March 2009. It has a very nice wide 23inch screen, it worked very well with my blu-ray player and HP computer but after only 5 months it stop working. I get a one or two second view of the desktop and then the screen goes black. it also has a very annoying whine. I sent it to acer to be repaired under warranty and after getting it back from them it worked for only one month and then the same problem started again! I have owned several types of electronic devices from computers to tvs etc and I have never ever had any to stop working in less than 6 months of ownership. I made the mistake of recommending this monitor to my parents ....hopefully theirs will not break down after 5 months.
