Pros: The color quality is great. The response of the images is quick with no ghosting while watching DVD s and playing hardcore graphically intense video games like COD 4, COD 5, ETQW, Devil May Cray 4. For the price now you cant go wrong.

Cons: No adjustments at all to the base of the monitor. Although the stand is very sturdy. Very few perks in the console where the buttons get very confusing on witch one does what in witch adjustment .

Summary: My family would rather watch movies on this 22" monitor than on the 32" tube television that we have in the same room. The reason being is the picture is so much clearer than a standard TV. Don't think its because its a LCD vs. Tube because I also have a 15" LCD in the house but the color and picture quality blows that one away. I definitely recommend this as a gaming monitor for i play all those games mentioned before and more with DX 10. I do have a great graphics card pushing this monitor , a BFG 9800 gtx+ 1gb on board ram .

The major down fall to this monitor is there is 0 adjustment to the stand. You can not tilt it up nor down so placement is crucial to the viewer. When in the console the menu and auto buttons change what the do depending on what you are adjusting. In one option the menu button may select some thing and in the next it may back you out of the console, make it very confusing on witch buttons do what. No need for confusion when trying to adjust settings.

All in all this is a very good monitor and I've had it for over a year now and never had an issue with it. Every monitor you look at will have its ups and downs but don't condemn a model because of its base. You can always mount this one on a wall and with that mount get the adjustments you want. But there is no cure to the confusing buttons. I hope this helped you make you decision.
