"Monitor Manufactures are getting petty and cheap"2.5 starson by SoCalCreations
Pros: Decent price for a new LED monitor
Cons: What good is an "Ultra Thin" monitor with the connections are STRAIGHT out the back? With this monitor they could have mounted them higher and at an angle to give you more desk room and whats with the NO DVI or USB anymore?
Summary: Every year monitors have been getting better, except the new LED's, they are cheaper to produce, more environmentally friendly (less power and no mercury), so why are they higher in price? My biggest problem with ALL the Monitor Manufactures is that they gave many options and features every year, but now the resolutions are limited to 1920 x 1080 (not great for an artist or CAD person), NO more USB, Connectors straight out the back DEFEATING the purpose of an "Ultra thin" screen, missing DVI ports on many of them, but offering VGA or 2 HDMI???? What is HDMI without sound anyway...yea NO SPEAKER EITHER. My last LCD monitor had a 11 in 1 memory card reader, 3 USB ports, speakers, VGA and DVI ports. HEY MANUFACTURES STOP with the CHEAP STUFF!!!
Give us a monitor that does higher resolutions, ALL 3 connectors, speakers, Memory card reader and USB ports... then it is considered a DEVICE of USEFULNESS and not a just a view screen, that is LAME and so 80's and 90's.... MORE FEATURES for PRODUCTIVITY are REQUIRED since you got us use to them, give them back...ALL those things are WORTH another $100 in a Monitor.
