"This monitor is a hands down winner." on by defline
Pros: Great color balance and brightness, blacks stay convincingly dark. Nice bright whites too Sharp display, great graphics and well worth the price.
Cons: None so far
Summary: I've tried other 22" LCD monitors, some with text issues, others with the colors itself, this one is perfect, best of all even though it's 22" widescreen, it doesn't stretch your pictures, others I tried did. A+++++

"Loved it enough to buy a 2nd one" on by 747dude
Pros: Price, and graphic quality. The wide screen is great. Can have 2 docs open side by side and your not trying to read just a sliver of it. The graphics are bright and contrast high.
Cons: The stand may be a little wobbly if you jump around your computer a lot. It's just fine for our family.
Summary: I have 2 computers that our family use for school, games and internet. I bought one and used it for 2 months. My other monitor worked fine but everyone in my family wanted to use the computer with this monitor. The only difference was the monitor. I found it on sale again with no shipping. So now I have a spare 19" waiting for a computer. I can't imagine that there is a better value on a 22".

"worst monitor and support" on by koberjp
Pros: Nothing to like. I bought it new at and it didn't work after a week. Sent it back at my own expense and they sent me a new one.($50 shipping). After a month this one stopped working and they wanted me to ship it back at my own expense.
Cons: see above this product stinks.
Summary: See above the product stinks and the service is worse.

"A decent 22" monitor for $180 is hard to beat." on by Bowen88
Pros: Inexpensive for the quality. VGA and DVI input. VGA and DVI cables included. 5ms response time. 1680 x 1050 res. Various preset adjustments (Text, Graphics, Movie, etc).
Cons: Not the crispest looking 22" monitor. Style wise not the best looking out there. Stand feels somewhat flimsy. No height adjustment and HDMI input.
Summary: If you don't really care about style and a glossy screen this monitor really can't be beat in the price department. It's also nice that Acer included both the VGA and DVI cables at this price. I bought a more expensive Samsung 2253 from BestBuy half a year ago, and that unit didn't include the DVI cable.
Although the Samsung in my opinion has a better looking screen, for office use the Acer is more than sufficient. Did I mention it was less than $180 including tax? -
"Time Will Tell - 50% power switch / supply failure rate" on by butterflynet
Pros: Nice size. Clear image. Moderate price.
Cons: Power switch / supply failure.
Summary: Purchased two of these monitors at Walmart ($159 each) as x-mas gifts for the kids.
Had them shipped to Walmart Site-to-Store and picked them up around Thanksgiving.
One monitor failed at 43 days after purchase (less than two week of actual use). Wouldn't turn on. Figure it was either a power switch or power supply failure.
Walmart was great about exchaning it.
However, makes me wonder how long these will really last and/or how much it would have cost to repair the failure.
Time will tell.
I'm giving them a 2.5 of 5 Star rating ( because of the experienced 50% failure rate).
